Introduction
Point of Sales (POS) systems have become essential for local business owners across several industries to drive growth and generate more revenue. The market size value of POS software reached $9.3 billion and it is forecasted to grow to $18.0 billion by 2027. The POS system implementation is targeted for the “Nepal” region.
So with increasing internet usage and technology in Nepal, the business team want to introduce POS system to enable local business and shopkeepers to change from the traditional cash transaction to digital.
Problem
Business have to deal with a large number of customers every day. To maintain the customer pressure at peak time they have to deal with a faster transaction rate. Slower transaction rate is a barrier between the customer satisfaction and profit.
We were using manual billing and manual coupon system. Customers used to pay their bills and we used to make their bills, KOTs and coupons manually. But at the peak time it is become impossible to maintain such age old procedure with the increasing customer pressure. At the day end we have a heap of bills to calculate all them manually.
Challanges
How to decrease the time taken for the transactions?
How to increase the customers footfall?
Need to have an daily and detailed reporting system.
Need a way to have the money directed to bank account.
How can we improve Customer satisfaction
Customers are used to pay through mobile?
Cut the paper bills to support and save environment
How to reduce the cash leakage due to manual collection/payment?
